    The words slipped out, raw, ugly, unguarded:

    Leo’s surprise was so instant Claude could feel it even without seeing his face.

    The truth of the matter is, Kaveh has no idea how to read Alhaitham. He prides himself on being an expert at understanding people, his empathetic heart lending him the capacity to relate deeply with those around him (oftentimes to his detriment). But with Alhaitham, there is nothing for him to read; no clues from his cool expression for him to grasp. The man appears stoic all the time even during their petty bickering.

    Honestly, when was the last time Kaveh has seen the man do anything except smirk or frown? Does Alhaitham feel happiness? Has he ever seen the man laugh?

    Kaveh's mind is drawing a blank on the latter and it...bothers him deeply.

    Kaveh devises a plan to get Alhaitham to smile by being aggressively nice to the man (and also maybe if he makes Alhaitham happy, he can score a discount on his rent or something). Alhaitham thinks Kaveh ate some mind-altering mushrooms and is, understandably, confused and mildly afraid.

    adorable dynamic, stupid kaveh🩷 amazing writing, though there have been instances where the sentence was complete and utter nonsense that i didnt get a word, no matter how much i tried rewording it🥹 all in all tho, amazing work!! i absolutely enjoyed it and 100% recommend!

    People keep coming up to Kaveh to congratulate him. Kaveh doesn’t really know why, and he’s a little too scared to ask at this point, so he heads back home, content if not a little bemused.

    He is, unfortunately, reminded of it the very next day, when the door slams open and Al-Haitham stalks in. “Mind telling me why everyone was congratulating me today?” he demands. “About your pregnancy?"

     

    Or: Al-Haitham is, without a doubt, the most annoying person Kaveh knows. Maybe the world’s second-most annoying person can help Kaveh figure him out.

    Incredible writing, LOVE the trope, i adore how haikaveh parent wanderer and how wanderer slowly but surely warms up to them and comes to love them and accept them as his parents and haikaveh vice versa with wanderer as their son. I fear i will never find another fic as amazi mg as this one💔

    i’m gonna sob this was do amazingly well written and the fluff im gonna kms ITS SO GOOD I CANT THEYRE SO ADORABLE 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I like how the Personalities werent too far ooc as well like how Kaiser, while being gentler(if you can call it that) in this fic than in the manga, still did asshole things like how he is in the manga while ness basically stayed the same except for the fact that he’s more horned up and freakier than canon ness, still this was amazing and usually, i dont enjoy kainess fluff all that much in fics since theyre mostly mischaracterization of Kaiser but this one was amazingly well written. i also really, REALLY love this au, fanfic writer ness and fanartist kaiser is all i’ve been searching for omd i love ness’s possessive and obsessive behavior with kaiser when he has no idea he’s being that way to kaiser in the first place its so good, amazing job author!!!!
