"Um.. sorry again." Hinata extends a hand for the white haired guy, offering him help.
However, the other boy was looking at him, then his uniform, and then him again. Frowning for some reason.
"Great. Just just my luck. I'm all wet thanks to a reserve course student." The white haired boy grumbles, glaring daggers at Hinata.
Hinata winces. Of course, he expected that to happen.
"I'm sorry again. I can make it up to you." Hinata says, in an ashamed tone.
"I don't need a reserve course student's help." And with that, the guy slaps Hinata's hand away, standing up on his own.
Hinata didn't like the tone the guy was using. He may be a reserve course student, but he still has dignity.

Summary
Nagito didn’t mean for it all to happen. He didn’t mean to hurt anyone. It was all happening too fast, and it kept going. Hajime smiled, held his hand, as though everything was going to be okay, but it was all wrong. The whole island was corrupt, buffering and glitched. And he kept smiling, he just kept telling him it was going to be alright. As though he loved him. As though he didn’t care about the killings and the bloodshed so long as he was by his side.
What was this? What was this romance, this love? Mikan couldn’t understand it, had refused to accept it, had pushed it down and stood on its grave with a stake in her hand and trembling fingers. She was not an equal, she was something lesser, something deserving of ridicule and pain, that was what her family had told her. Was she joking? Was she serious, did she look at her and see something worth being looked at? Was she more than scum, more than a body and a sensitive heart? Did she see her as something worth loving?
And more, much more, so much more, I could die from excitement!

But even as Nagito keeps pushing him away, Hajime isn’t the type to give up so easily.

Nagito and Hajime were childhood friend, but when Hajime moved away, he and Nagito never saw each other again for 9 years until Hajime ce back to his hometown with his family for summer to visit their grandma, since they haven't seen her since then. Upon setting foot back in the small town, things feels different, as if something has awakened deep inside of him, and the seeing his old friend after so many years, doesn't ease the weirdness of the situation.
