Summary
Hajime wakes up, and that’s the only memory he has.
Trapped on an island with a handful strangers, Hajime tries to find his place in the group as they struggle with the reality that not only are they trapped here until further notice, but they’ve developed some… strange mutations during their time spent comatose.
His mission for answers about his own past leads to secrets that were better left undiscovered, and puts the lives of all his new friends in danger. He’s caught in a race against time to save his friends from the people who trapped them here, organizations that want them dead, and a mysterious force trying to turn them against each other. Nagito didn’t mean for it all to happen. He didn’t mean to hurt anyone. It was all happening too fast, and it kept going. Hajime smiled, held his hand, as though everything was going to be okay, but it was all wrong. The whole island was corrupt, buffering and glitched. And he kept smiling, he just kept telling him it was going to be alright. As though he loved him. As though he didn’t care about the killings and the bloodshed so long as he was by his side.
What was this? What was this romance, this love? Mikan couldn’t understand it, had refused to accept it, had pushed it down and stood on its grave with a stake in her hand and trembling fingers. She was not an equal, she was something lesser, something deserving of ridicule and pain, that was what her family had told her. Was she joking? Was she serious, did she look at her and see something worth being looked at? Was she more than scum, more than a body and a sensitive heart? Did she see her as something worth loving?

Summary
Neither of them want to be sitting here right now. They don't exactly have the greatest past together. But after being forced together for the sake of healing and normalcy, Gundham and Kazuichi find themselves with a mutual interest to find interesting ways to fill the time while they wait for the rest of their classmates to wake from the Neo World Program. This leads them to spending more time together, rebuilding what had been lost of their relationship over the last few years...by doing things they're fairly certain may get them in trouble.
