Summary
"Open your mouth," Robby says.
It's always simple. Dennis opens his mouth.
His eyes stay on Robby's. They don't waver, and they don't look away. They don't do anything except remain. He brings the full attending quality, the whole-body presence, and the decided quality that Dennis brings to everything he's decided when he finally has.
"I'm going to spit in it. So you know what my words taste like when I say them with you on my mind."
Dennis lets out a breath. Not a reactive or theatrical gasp. Nothing like that. He lets out a breath, steady and short, like something released that has been held for a while. Like a dam being broken. Like relief, palpable and clean.
"Yes, sir."
·········
Doctor Michael Robinavitch dreads staying in one place for too long. Seeking a more pastoral experience, he sets up a private practice in the flat, private fields of Nebraska. Upon hearing of a new doctor's arrival near town, a bright and eager young man with an aptitude for medicine and peculiar scars begins to show up at his doorstep. First for treatment, then for training. All kinds of training.

“I haven’t really been to a wedding where I’ve, uh… let loose. But, hey,” Dennis shrugged, “maybe I’m doing it wrong.”
“If I hadn’t already agreed to go to this conference, I’d offer to go with you,” Robby said casually. “Show you how it’s done. I’ve got a good track record as a plus-one, too.” Dennis had to say something. To interrupt. To shut this down. But what was he supposed to say? No, you can’t be my plus one, because I lied about my cousin, and there is no wedding, and it seems a little weird to bring a date to a fucking funeral– “Apparently parents love it when you bring home a doctor.”
And just like that, the bubble popped.
“I’m not gay,” Dennis snapped.
He had never hated the sound of his own voice as much as he did right then.
---
Or, Dennis is anxiously headed home for a "wedding" in Broken Bow, Nebraska, the details of which are increasingly fuzzy. Robby's got a medical conference in Omaha that same weekend. So they carpool. Seventeen hours both ways in an enclosed space with no way out except a tuck and roll. This'll go great. -

Summary
The older man laughed at his predicament. Then he did something terrible. He rolled up his sleeves for him. Dennis was damn near breathless when he got to the left hand. Jesus Christ, this will be a long day if Robby is already hovering and touching like this. He gets in moods where he likes to control what everyone does. Dennis is the one who bends to it the easiest, though, so he often bears the brunt. He didn’t even mind, which was probably the worst part.
When they walked out for the morning huddle, Trinity took one look at him and cackled. “My coat not good enough for ya? Or did you just wanna smell like daddy?” At least she had the decency to whisper it.
“Shut up. I should’ve never told you that.”'
Or in which Dennis has a rare condition that prevents him from feeling the physical sensation of pain. Jack and Robby have to find novel ways to punish him into taking better care of himself.

Summary
Life doesn’t stop when everything changes. It begins with overcrowded waiting rooms, failing systems, unanswered questions, and people insisting everything is under control. When a violent infectious outbreak shatters PTMC and the U.S. Dr. Michael Robinavitch and Dennis Whitaker are forced into an environment that is changing faster than anyone can understand. As hospitals fail, cities unravel, and winter closes in, survival becomes less about saving lives and more about enduring the impossible choices left behind because of it. But it's in loss, endurance, and hope that keeps them moving long after reason tells them to stop.

Breaking News: CDC Warns People To Stay Inside and Away from Others
Several thousand reports have been made around the world of developing virus, dubbed Ordo Sodalis, making breakouts in major cities and rural areas alike. The CDC has reported no deaths, however there have been reports of assaults. Symptoms appear to decrease after intercourse, however no statements have been made on treatments.
Biologists from Harvard are suggesting this is not a virus at all, but a rapid evolution of the human gene into something else. Dr. Devon Linol said to reporters, “I believe this is similar to something we see in animals, such as wolves, where there is a mating period, or heat. Humans are displaying similar symptoms and behaviors as animals in heat, and we don’t know for sure if this is a permanent effect or not.”
The CDC has neither agreed or disagreed with this statement. More updates to come as this progresses. -

“It’s not like it was illegal or anything!” Dennis says with a huff. “When I was twenty I had, like, a little sort of fling with one of my professors. He was in his sixties, although you couldn’t tell just by looking at him.”
“Your professor?”
“Cool it with the judgmental tone,” Dennis warns, narrowing his gaze at Robby. “Or did you forget that you’re my boss?”

Summary
“Oh,” Dennis says, straining his neck to look at Robby and the man likes the appreciative, cock hungry look in his eyes. He gulps. “I-I didn’t expect you to be so big.”
“I did warn you baby, but you’re just so desperate for it, aren’t you?” He murmurs, tucking his face into Dennis’ neck, where he lays a wet kiss just beneath his jaw. It’s difficult to deny anything when the boy looks like this; so open, so vulnerable that Robby just wants to keep him here forever.
(5 times Robby unintentionally sees Whitaker's nipple piercings and 1 time he actually does something about it.)
