Summary
Varka was used to a knight now and then either coming to his office or his quarters when they just needed to be around another person. Most often it was people like Jean, who have become a little restless with the lessened work load. Occasionally some of the younger knights after a particularly long day (mainly Amber coming in and napping on his couch). Very rarely, Kaeya or even rarer, Diluc when they had no where else to take their thoughts.
Never Lohen though, until tonight.

It was Alastor's turn to roll his eyes, “Whatever you say. We are getting away from the subject at hand. I’m asking to make a deal with you.”
Lucifer's eyes nearly popped out of his skull and he couldn’t suppress the bark of a laugh that came out of him in surprise, “A deal?? With me? A literal deal with the devil.”
Alastor’s smooth smile stayed steady on his lips, “Yes. That’s what I said.”

“What.” he said, and the child jolted, sending him a frightened look that immediately made him feel guilty.
“Ah, here you are.”
His mother’s voice almost made Venti jump, but Istaroth didn’t seem to care as she walked out of the kitchen, sending a small smile toward the girl before turning toward her son.
“Paimon, this is my son Venti, your cousin. Say hi.”
