Summary
Being dead was liberating.
Not emotionally.
But tactically? Tactically, being dead was the best thing that had ever happened to the 17th Legion.
—
The original invasion plan for Umbara was brutal.
Jedi General Serra Vey looks at the caves, the dark, and the gaps in the Republic's strategy and sees another way. She sees infrastructure.
So the 17th Legion drops ahead of the main force with no backup, no supply line, and no extraction until the war catches up to them. The mission: sabotage Umbaran defenses. Make the Shadow World survivable.
It was a good plan.
Right up until someone sold them out.

Summary
'Death. Ruin. Destruction.' Icarus Castellan had thought it nought but the incessant ramblings of a madman. They all had.
He clenched his tingling left hand as he looked out at the sea of suffering that lay before him, the last gift from the now aborted battle plan of a group of clueless monks. The heaps of mangled off-white bodies stretched out as far as the eye could see, a cacophony of limbs grasping for a salvation they’d never reach. He bit his lip. 'No. Those words had been a warning.'
Shadows of the Clone Wars is a novelisation of an eponymous tabletop roleplaying campaign set during its namesake in 22-19BBY. Taking on a darker tone than much of the media that inspired it, it follows the Legions of the 8th Support Corps as they try to navigate the many perils and trials of the conflict. Whilst the war increasingly threatens to engulf and reshape the entire Galaxy as they know it, they too find themselves progressively sacrificing everything they hold dear to feed hard-won but ultimately futile victories.
A triumph for the Separatists is the least the Republic has to lose…

Interesting and brutal. No sugar coating the brutality of war.

The Misadventures of Han Solo by Lucky_star5
Fandom Star Wars - All Media Types, Star Wars - Han Solo, Star Wars Original Trilogy
20 Jul 2026
Summary
Before he was a Rebel hero, Han Solo was just a guy with a fast ship, a loyal Wookiee, and a talent for turning simple jobs into catastrophic disasters. This series follows the misadventures of everyone’s favourite scoundrel as he bluffs, shoots, flirts, panics, improvises, and generally stumbles his way across the galaxy.
Each story stands alone, but together they chart the long, crooked, wildly inconvenient path that eventually dumps Han right where fate wants him: in trouble with the Hutts, the Empire, and his own conscience.

Summary
When clones of Jango Fett start to be dropped back into the galaxy long before the vode are meant to be created, a ripple effect of changes is set into motion. It begins with Sev, with Cody, Rex, and several members of Torrent. But that's only the beginning.
While the knowledge the clones have allows future disasters to be prevented, it also grants them the chance to grow up a second time. To be the children they never were the first time around. To be the Mandalorians they deserved to be all along.
This is a story about a kinder future in a brighter galaxy, because the clones are a part of it. Yet, it's also a story about family, healing, and cultural revival.
