They did it. They won.
The Mind Flayer and Vecna were dead, the Upside Down sucked into the void and with it El.
Mike tried to move on and be happy, happy to be home with his sister and his mother and father, happy to be alive when El couldn't be. But the Party was pulling away further and further every day, the good society of Hawkins wanted him to conform, and Will... He couldn't bring himself to leave his basement anymore, every time he went outside it was like a thousand eyes locked on in judgement and his house didn't feel like his own. Not really.
but he couldn't complain. this was a hard earned happily ever after, even if it didn't look like what he thought it would.
At the very least, it was over.

Summary
After an agonizing last months of the school semester, June finally breathed its life into the town of Hawkins.
Warm, sticky, muggy air tucked itself into the streets as schools opened their doors and released the kids for the few months that felt like an eternity and too fast at the same time. It was a time for friends to come together, relishing the laxed supervision of their parents to run rampant through the streets hand in hand, side by side.
To celebrate, the Party goes to an island where they find a little more than they bargained for as they find a moon pool that changes Mike, Max, and Lucas into merpeople.
After failing to keep land people off the island, Jane and Will have to go to land to try to fix their mistake before their secret gets revealed to the entire world.OR:
Mike, Max, and Lucas are in H20 just add water trying to navigate being mermaids while Jane and Will are in Mako Mermaids while trying to naviagate being humans.Series

Summary
Will knew something was up with Mike as soon as he came scampering into his room almost immediately after school. But whatever Will thought he was gonna say did not prepare him for Mike asking him to the dance.
Now between the bright lights, noisy speakers playing annoying chart toppers, and the glares of the same middle schoolers who'd taken up to calling him 'Zombie Boy', Will didn't expect to have a very good night.
But a lonely hallway and a risk Will never thought would pay off might make it unforgettable.OR:
Mike asks Will to the Snow Ball, Will goes out to get some air and Mike follows him, and the two are able to be honest about their feelings without the world's prying eyes. -

Mike knew that he wouldn't make it out this time.
Since the pipe burst and flooded the bathroom, it was only a matter of time until the military caught onto to what they were doing. He knew since the plan was created that going into this it was a risk. Everything was bigger now than they could ever imagine, Vecna was going to kidnap twelve kids for God knew what, the US military was guarding the Mac Z and getting in their way, El was somewhere in the Upside Down, and now so was Nancy and Dustin. Now the military had figured out their plan and had dragged them out to the Mac Z for reasons Mike didn't know why.
But things were quickly going bad to worse and they needed a miracle Mike didn't think would come. Only it did, and awakened maybe some other things that were quietly left unsaid for the longest time.

Mike’s entire body pulses with frustration. “Because I’m not Tammy Thompson!”
Will can’t breathe. “But–”
“I’m not Tammy Thompson.” Mike’s eyes blaze. “I’m goddamn Mike Wheeler, and I’ve been in love with you since you set my hair on fire in science class when we were ten.” His jaw clenches, and Will feels like someone let off a grenade next to his head. “I realised I was in love with you when you left me for Lenora, and realised you loved me when you made up that bullshit about El asking you to make me the painting.”
Will feels the blood leave his face, feels his entire world shifting in an instant. “Mike–”
“And then you stand there and tell everyone it’s this crush that amounts to the same as some girl who didn’t like Robin back?” Mike’s voice cracks. “I– how am I that to you?”

Summary
Don't get them wrong, they both loved their babies more than anything, but having a weekend just to themselves sounded divine.
So Will was just now waking up, at 11:30am on a Saturday, stretching out like a cat with nowhere to be. Usually his real life cats would be snuggling at the end of the bed, but their absence suggested they were meowing at Mike while he cooked.
Mike, who was now leaning on the jamb of their bedroom door wearing a dark grey t-shirt and boxers, his hair in its longer state and shaggy – the way Will liked it best.
“Morning, sleepy,” he said with his arms crossed. Will felt insane over how hot Mike looked right now, the collection of tattoos on his arms steadily growing, some of which Will had even designed himself. He was so full of love thinking about how his art was permanently on Mike’s body, but it also made him feel aroused. Because Mike was his and only his – had been, since they were five.
OR
while the kids are having a sleepover weekend with their aunts, mike and will indulge in a child-free weekend and everything that comes with it.
