Summary
They sit together, on the floor of Everett’s room, a few bottles emptied by their feet. A particularly large wine glass is safe in the younger Major’s hands. Miles wonders why he bothers, but then again, there’s something rather endearing about it, Everett’s head tilted back against the end of his own bed, eyes narrowed in the sort of hazy thoughtfulness that only inebriation can truly provide. Plump, wine-stained lips are parted slightly, and Everett takes another sip, his head knocked back and his neck arched deliciously.
… Maybe the wine glass wasn’t quite so useless.

"Reality can be whatever I want it to be." and "Fine, I'll do it myself." are basically the vibes.
