Summary
Amathorn's life has always been full. As Gil-galad's chief guard since his childhood on the Isle of Balar there was no way for it not to be. He never found romantic love, and that never bothered him, he was busy.
When he feels the call West half a millennium after Gil-galad's death, he assumes this must mean that he is to be released from the Halls of Mandos and re-embodied soon, and goes to him gladly. This does not turn out to be the case however, and instead, he crosses paths with a beautiful Teleri artist.
Amathorn has lived for over four and a half thousand years. He has never felt like this before. Oh no.
Written for Aspec Arda Week, as a prologue to a yet to be published fic of Gil-galad's rebirth in Valinor. I'm hitting an elf OC with the gay demi hammer after 4.5K years. Enjoy!

Summary
Umbra: noun, the innermost and darkest part of shadow resulting from the total obstruction of light by a planetary body in eclipse.
Night has fallen on the Republic. Clones open fire, and Jedi die- but not all of them. A Jedi and his padawan survive. But what is it to be a Jedi without the Republic?
Jedi Knight Cy and his Padawan Khlora narrowly escape the clone troopers and are aided by Dexter Jettster and his network in their continued survival. But having lived through the initial slaughter, they struggle to fulfill their role as Jedi without embarking on a suicide mission, or bringing the Empire down on their new allies. Khlora grates under a feeling of helplessness while Cy recovers from an injury and wonders about the safety of his Force-Bonded partner, a Jedi Healer named Raen who was elsewhere in the Galaxy when Order 66 was executed.
This has been a labor of love of mine for the past decade, and I am excited to finally be posting it. Thematically, this is a story of overcoming trauma, found family, respect of Jedi culture, and everyone is queer. Set in the Legends + Clone Wars continuity.

Summary
Gil-galad burnt out like a supernova by Sauron's hand in Middle Earth.
The thing about supernovas though, is that their matter and energy go on to form a new star.
Fingal is the beloved son of Finrod's daughter, Berinya. He might be a little odd, but she is no stranger to her family being eccentric. This... could be more than that however.

To understand history, understand this: Gil-galad rises to kingship during the First Age's apocalypse. Morgoth is winning, the world, ending, Beleriand's soil and waters run red with blood and stinking of iron. He appears, fully formed– autochthonous! As if he was born in the cold ashes of Nirnaeth Arnoediad as the Eru-begotten awoke at Cuiviénen– with the trappings and responsibility of leadership already upon him.
He could be anyone. It's why it works.
