By the time he took his seat and beckoned for Will to join him, the profiler was a deep breath from begging him to hurry. Will crawled forward as gracefully as he could with his arms tied, only stopping when he came into contact with Hannibal’s slacks. Two fingers found their way beneath his chin; tilted his face to meet the lust blown pupils of Hannibal’s maroon and gold eyes.
“You’ve done so well for me,” Hannibal praised. “I believe it is time to get started, don’t you agree?” Will nodded enthusiastically. “Good. Please stand, and come here. Lay down across my lap.”OR
Will Graham finishes a case with some finesse. Hannibal Lecter rewards him for his efforts by fulfilling a fantasy he'd just gained the courage to ask for.

In an effort to end war, countries have legalized government-sanctioned killings as an outlet for aggressive individuals. In this way anyone who wants to kill can sign up as a Hunter and be assigned a victim, but after they make their kill they must then switch to Victim Status and play victim to another Hunter. Hannibal Lecter has been on many such hunts and looks forward to them. But he’s suddenly thrown for a loop when he’s assigned a victim unlike any he’s had before.

Hannibal is becoming more perceptive and aware of the way Will shows attention towards him in their new life. The subtleties are unnoticeable to the common eye, but to Hannibal they are as known to him as breathing in air through his lungs. There is no detail about Will or the way they are with each other that goes undetected by him, he feels as if every glance speaks volumes, every caress a question and an answer, and every kiss satisfying years long of ache inside of him.
Will explores Hannibal's submission post fall. Hannibal eventually catches on.

Count Lecter is a renowned alienist, the first to be recognized for his work. He entertains the general populace and graciously lends help where he feels necessary. He is proud, aristocratic, and there is most definitely something lurking behind those bordeaux eyes.
Sweet William has a mind unlike anyone has ever seen and beauty out of this world, though to interact with him, there are rules one must follow. He is soft and hard, feminine and masculine, coy and fierce. No one can look in his eyes long enough to see what lurks.

The problem is, none of this fits with the nightmare his life has become, especially after killing Randall Tier. Even more so when he gets up and comes face-to-face with the monster he loves—only here, he’s living with him, in a relationship, because, fucking Christ, he’s woken up in an alternate universe where they’re together and happy. Clearly, someone out there hates Will Graham.

Hannibal notices it amidst the sporadic mentions of Bedelia; a slight crinkle at the corner of Will's eyes, his lips forming a tiny line. It also reminds him of Will's reaction to his relationship with Alana. That's how the concept takes shape in his mind and gives birth to an idea. Having Will by his side has granted him more fulfillment than dozens of hunts, preparations, but still, his beloved’s peculiarity beckons for further exploration.
