Summary
Zoey giggled and nuzzled impossibly closer. Rumi could feel her rub her cheek against the side of her neck—where her scent gland would be—and sniff the area. The action tickled the sensitive skin and sent a pleasant shudder down her spine. In the back of her mind, Rumi vaguely registered how the need to itch the area lessened.
Zoey paused and leaned back to look at Rumi. A curious look crossed her face, and Rumi raised one eyebrow in question.
“You kinda smell different,” Zoey simply stated. There were no teasing undertones in that sentence, just a factual finality.
OR
Rumi had spent her entire life believing that she was a beta. Why wouldn't she considering she never presented as anything else. However, as it turns out, training to be an idol and demon hunter while carrying the responsibility of fixing the Honmoon since she was young can be stress inducing.
When things finally settle down after they create the new Honmoon, Rumi begins to notice subtle changes--her scent, smells, and behaviors. A reluctant visit to the doctor reveals that she's finally presenting as an omega. Rumi has a crisis while Mira and Zoey try not to freak out.

Summary
“You okay?” Zoey asks, her hand wrapped around Rumi’s. Mira’s hands are braced at her opposite shoulder, keeping her arm steady, and ow— that’s where the demon must have got her. She winces around a sharp inhale.
“You’re okay,” Mira says, firm. “Go slow. I think it dislocated your shoulder on top of scratching you up. Ripped your sweatshirt too, sorry. I know you liked this one.”
It takes Rumi a moment to register what she said. Then, in a move that makes her head spike with a pain that almost takes out her vision entirely, her focus snaps to her arm.
The sleeve of her hoodie is slashed open and gaping. Her patterns are out, shining in the morning sunlight, vivid even through the blood.
She’s up and away before either of them can stop her.

The first time Rumi gets hurt after the Idol Awards, a head wound and shock means she forgets that her team now knows about her patterns— and old habits die hard.

Summary
After Gwi-Ma is sealed away, the new Honmoon blanketing the city in its protective embrace, the only thing Rumi wants to do is sleep.
Her body aches, her vision blurs, and her head throbs with the pain of a headache long ignored. The moment Mira and Zoey usher her offstage, away from the hundreds of thousands of fans, the adrenaline leaves her as fast as it came. She sags backward, stumbling over nothing but her exhaustion, and for a moment, she thinks that hitting the floor would be a welcome sensation.

The girls get Rumi home after the events of the Idol Awards, and then they have to deal with all of the shattered glass they had sung about.

She sleeps fitfully, waking again, this time hot.
She uncovers fully, but then the sweat makes her shiver, so she pulls the blanket back over.
Then, too hot.
Then, too cold.
On and off the blanket goes, maddeningly, until she has just almost found a half on and half off solution that leaves her somewhere in the middle, when she hears Mira clear her throat in the hallway, and then knock. No, it can't already be training time, is it? She checks the phone again—just after 7. Shit.
