Summary
Somewhere, on a different timeline’s Earth, it is a young man’s birthday. Today, he turns thirteen. But this story is not about him. In this timeline, it is not his birthday. It is just Monday.
Like any other Monday in April, nothing particularly special is going on. It’s so uneventful, in fact, that several friends are skipping lessons specifically in preparation for the release of a new game. Every player of this game has known of its existence for longer than they care to remember, and having arranged to play it together months in advance, all there is left to do is wait for its install.
Which, of course, starts with the original file crack.
