It’s oddly ugly calligraphy, intriguing only in its flaws. Shen Qingqiu has suffered many many beginner attempts at calligraphy, and none have been quite so… well. It’ll take some time for Shen Qingqiu to find the words.
Shen Qingqiu swallows back the reflexive, If they want lessons just tell them to sign up with the next batch, and looks closer at the paper. There was just something about the brushstrokes… and the shaky characters that spelled out ‘Silly Melon’ like a child trying out a name… “A cat?” he asks. “Duan shidi is training a cat in calligraphy? How intriguing.”

Summary
A mostly crackfic series that asks, what if Shane and Ilya were slightly out of character? Shane is bitchier, Ilya is manic and philosophical, Cliff Marleau and the Boston boys take turns babysitting their crashing-out captain, and Shane finally gets recognized as the pretty, funny, sassy player he is.
Nothing is too serious about this, it's a mix of show and book canon, and a healthy dose of fanon (himbo king Cliff). Ilya is allowed to catch feelings early, as a treat and Shane is allowed to let his inner mean girl out.
Please enjoy these silly boys and their silly relationships! Four works so far with more to come! How much more? I don't know! They keep doing silly things and my brain keeps writing it down.

The arena is too loud.

In hindsight, sending Stiles away to live with his Uncle in London, while a good idea on paper, may not have been the best decision that Sheriff Stilinski ever made.
However, in his defense, how was he to know that his chaos-gremlin of a son would flourish and find a new calling?
Or that it would take him into the very belly of Her Majesty's Secret Intelligence Service?
He couldn't know. All he knew when he sent his son away, was that he came far too close to losing him. Everything that came after, was allowed - so long as Stiles survived.
Even if it meant taking on a new name, a new territory to call his own, and a new vocation that would lead him into far more danger than he ever would've encountered in tiny little Beacon Hills.
All the good sheriff ever asked was that his son survive.
Thankfully, in time, he'd have some help with that. 00-help. Though whether that was a blessing or a curse, only time would tell.
