Summary
Being sent to a wild goose chase to find a potential cure for their daughter after Mia's presumed death, Ethan and Rose's journey grinds to a halt after losing their only clue and important temporary medication, and they are now stuck living with a local, secretive eccentric hermit until they can figure things out. He's surprisingly friendly despite everything and gets along with Rose, which is a breath of fresh air for Ethan after everything they had to go through so far.....at first.

For the first time since the “apocalypse” he finds himself alone and oddly enough the man finds that he no longer enjoys the solitude that he once craved. Eager for something familiar, he decides to open his home to guests again. The homeowner quickly learns to be careful what you wish for when a familiar pale visitor returns, this time as his new roommate.

“Wait kid!” And in that moment it came to him, “What if, what if we don’t forget you? What if we send you away?” Strange desperately called out.
“Mr.Strange… ” Peter had a sympathetic look in his eyes and Strange hated it. It wasn’t his life that was being destroyed, so why was Peter looking at him like the victim.
“Listen, I can send you somewhere there is no Peter Parker. There are an infinite number of universes, I can find one.” Strange said, more to himself than to Peter. And he knew this was dark magic, he knew he shouldn’t, but he didn’t care.
“I’ll send you there. Until I can fix this. Until I can bring you back.”
Or: Dr. Strange sends Peter to an alt universe where there are no Avengers, but they do have a thing called a Justice League. And sure Peter is homeless, but that doesn't stop him from being Spider-Man.

He wished to create a better future, sure, with less death and backward thinking, but the shards of his dream that had survived Suguru leaving had been smashed to dust exactly a year ago.
So he let it go.

At Least it isn't painful, Peter thinks as he shuts his eyes, his senses going into overdrive.
When he can no longer hold himself up, he allows his body to fall to the floor.
He can hear a faint voice in the distance, trying to reach him. As a last act of defiance, he tunes into the voice.
The last thing he can make out before falling unconscious is Doctor Strange's voice.
“I’m sorry kid. This was the only way.”

Peter Parker, like any 14 year old superhero mutant, really wants to catch a break. And yet somehow, he never gets one. He's just a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, nothing special, so what gives?
Well, that's only if you don't look at his biology ever since the radioactive spider bite. Or his extensive track record of running away from his guardians and that he was homeless for a bit. Or the amount of people in his life that have died because he's some kind of bad luck charm. Or that his foster-dad is Tony Stark now.
Or the fact that he was randomly kidnapped one morning on his way to school, and now he's in an alternate universe with a bunch of strange vigilantes that keep stalking him.
He thinks they mean well, but they're really weird. Besides that Red Hood guy. He's pretty cool. Though something about them- especially Nightwing- is familiar, that's not important. He has enough on his plate right now, considering there are multiple people trying to upend the fabric of time and space. He can figure out the other details later.

Oww, Peter thought blandly as he shifted- no, scratch that, tried to shift- onto his back but quickly decided that wasn’t in his best interest. Voices, both his own and not, swam in his head like a wave beating against his forehead.
“They’re coming here because of me, right? Because I’m Peter Parker? So cast a new spell, make everyone forget who Peter Parker is. Make everyone forget me.”
“It wouldn’t be enough. Your very presence would destabilize this universe.”
Peter finally managed to roll himself over onto his back, ignoring the sharp pain that shot through his spine at the movement enough to sit up and look around. He was in an alley which thankfully held no occupants save himself and the trash littering the ground.
“But I can… I can send you away. To a place where there is no Peter Parker. No Spiderman.”

What happens when you involve feelings in a contractual marriage? Yuuji knew he shouldn’t, not when he knew exactly what a contract marriage is. It’s just an image to keep and nothing personal is at all involved. Not when Gojo had zero interest in Yuuji romantically, except for the fact Yuuji was willing to play house while he basically sleeps with everyone but Yuuji.
So Yuuji opted to kill time elsewhere that’d distract himself surrounded by flowers—that was at least until Gojo saw him where he worked, happy as ever. Happier than the past few months. Somehow that genuine joy and smile on Yuuji’s face stuck on his mind for longer than he wanted. Somehow…he wanted to see that again even when he knew everything he did to rid the boy of the smile in the first place.
