Zoey isn’t really sure how she ended up here, in all honesty.
Well, she is. She can recount the steps chronologically. How Mira and Rumi had looked so god-damned defeated. How her big, stupid mouth had opened and volunteered, initially, and then had said yes to all of their concerned interrogations as to whether or not she was sure, like, really sure, one hundred per cent sure?
And now she’s said yes so many times and so adamantly that it isn’t as though she can suddenly back track and say, surprise! I am actually no longer willing to carry the baby you have been so desperately trying for because I think it would be a really super-duper bad idea! Sorry for getting your hopes up!
Zoey agrees to be a surrogate for a married Rumira. Things get messy because she's already in love with them, has known this for years, but she might be falling in love with the baby, too

At a press conference to celebrate their new album, "How It's Done: Deluxe Version," a woman named Yun Hee, grabs a microphone and tells Huntrix they are being disrespectful for singing about "going rambo" and a "napalm era" in their hit song. After Yun Hee asks Huntrix to change the song and agree to not promote militaristic messages in their music, she, and her two comrades, are escorted out. Bobby cuts the press conference short. Zoey, Mira, and Rumi are not only shaken but angry that someone demanded they change the lyrics of their song. While Zoey and Mira say that the woman had a right to speak her mind, Rumi believes that the activist group wanted to damage the band's reputation. She comforts her two friends in this tense situation. Later, when she looks up the group on her phone, she learns that Yun Hee was right all along, and she starts to have feelings she never expected, causing to internally panic. At the same time, Huntrix faces a crisis of its own...
