“Look,” Poe said, loudly to be heard over the driving rain, “I have the remote, okay? We’ll know the second someone picks up the signal, but until then there’s no sense standing out here waiting to get washed downstream.” He shook his head, trying to dislodge the curls sticking out from under his hood that were plastered to his forehead. “Let’s head back to the shelter and wait there.”
Finn got that look in his eyes and Poe braced himself for a fight; the Resistance were a hard-headed bunch but nobody could go toe-to-toe with Finn on stubbornness. But eventually Finn just pursed his lips, shook his head a little, and headed back down toward the shelter, carefully picking his way along the slippery rocky trail.
Stranded and alone after a mission gone wrong, Poe and Finn have a little while to themselves to sort some things out.

Her statement, simple and wistful though it was, made Louis’ happiness turn to ash in his mouth.

Soon enough the rest of the group joined them in the kitchen, the room becoming crowded in the morning rush.
As the day went on, Sett worried less and less about the vision he had, blaming it on a lack of sleep and dehydration. It was early, after all…

It wasn't unusual, it happened at least two times a week, but something about how the dim lights danced across Aphelios' face provoked the overwhelming urge to kiss him. Aphelios' lips lightly pursed, eyes gently shut, hand tucked against his pillow, and the fact that he asked him to talk to him until he fell asleep — it all made Sett's heart race.

It’s a phrase he hears often in different fonts, but it’s a phrase he’d rather not hear at all. The way the media tries to portray him and his role within the band is enough to make him question himself, stirring the inner workings of his mind. Aphelios stays lost in his own silence, unable to voice his turmoil.
Sett easily takes notice, not speaking on it until he finds the right moment.
