Summary
The Von Cleves detective agency is doing fine. I mean, sure, there's no money and the roof is leaking and the receptionist hasn't been paid in so long she can't remember what her wages are, but they are fine.
At least until the sweet new assistant arrives. In her wake there is a new murder case, involving a pair of constantly sniping suspects/clients (step up, Catalina and Anne) and a secret that seems to have the agency's owner, Mary Von Cleves, at its centre.
Will Mary solve the murder, solve the mystery of her birth and maybe get a date with that brilliant new assistant?
