Summary
“But rest assured that Mr Gaunt would most certainly not have made the choice to purchase an item of such… acquired taste if he did not think it the only suitable option at the time. How do I know this? Why, my good sirs, I was present.”
Several boys laughed aloud. Gaunt rolled his eyes, but it was true: Ellwood had been with him when he’d bought the tie pin, and had made his feelings about it quite plain, then, too.A drop of sweat trickled slowly down the centre of Gaunt’s spine, seeping into the heavy woollen waistband of his trousers. He looked at Ellwood from beneath his eyebrows, and Ellwood stared back, his gaze steady and dark.

It was June 1914, and Ellwood had persuaded Gaunt to go head to head with him in the final debate of Lower Sixth.

Summary
Simon has been waiting for this promotion for years. He’s worked his ass off every single day, dedicated every second of his spare time to getting ready for the job and to become worthy of it. So, when the day of the announcement of the new editor-in-chief of Makalös arrives, he’s positively buzzing. As the email finally appears in his inbox, he opens it with trembling hands and reads–
New editor-in-chief: Wilhelm Larsson
And who the fuck is that?
Wilhelm doesn’t even want this job in the first place. The only reason he applied is that he needed a new employment after getting fired from the newspaper he’d been working at for – hilariously enough – simply doing his job. The catch? He doesn’t know anything at all about fashion, and who the hell reads this stuff nowadays anyway?
So, when the recruitment office messes up and he becomes the new editor-in-chief of Makalös, he finds it more than a little funny. The same, however, cannot be said for his very hot – but murderous looking – senior editor.
~
TLDR: Simon and Wilhelm work together at a fashion magazine and want to ruin each other – in very different ways.

Summary
This was a fanfic Idea from Aslongasitsblack on Tumblr. I liked it and wanted to write it.
The Prompt:
Simon has to wear a tie for an event, and he's watched countless tutorials, but he just doesn't get it right. Then, he remembers the kind of cute guy around his age down the hall, who is always impeccably dressed. He must know how to tie a tie, right? He's never really talked to the guy or gotten a good look at him at all but he thinks it's worth a shot because he's already running late
When Wille opens the door, Simon freezes, realising the guy is (abdicated crown prince) Wilhelm and because he's so caught off guard and realises he has no other excuse to be knocking on Wille's door, he dumbfoundedly makes his request.
He was planning on taking the tie off but instead wille leans in and does it right under Simon's chin with a soft smile

Summary
“Would you… would you have loved me at all, if it hadn’t been for the War?”
Aching silence billowed through the room like gas, filling every corner. Gaunt looked like Ellwood had just punched him right in the centre of his chest.
“So you’ve always been half-blind," he said.In the weeks and months after their arrival in Brazil, Ellwood wants to dream of the life he and Gaunt might have shared if the War had never come to them. Gaunt, as expected, resists.
(Depictions of violence are in the same vein as the novel)

Summary
“The course of true love never did run smooth,” Ellwood says quietly, against his mouth.
“Shakespeare,” Gaunt says. “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
Neither, it transpired, did healing.

Summary
“If there’s someone you’re after in there, it isn’t intentional of me, Elly,” he says softly. You know I don’t care for these things.
Ellwood’s face falls flat, though unreadable, to Gaunt. He pauses, the phlox crumpling under his grueling fist. Oh he could sock Gaunt right in the jaw for that. How could he say that? He turns away, a sick sneer on his face as he approaches an adjacent tree that canopies the garden, rather viciously plucking one leaf off its branch. Someone Ellwood is after? Gaunt thinks he cares about any line up of those women his mother not so subtly arranged to be here at this party tonight? Like he's stupid? Did he not just explain himself?

Summary
"In this little haven they found with each other on occasion, everything could become palpable, smooth. They had only been intimate like this for a handful of days and nights out of barely a few weeks, and at many times things still felt uneasy, but they had both begun to find a fluency in one another within it that Ellwood could only describe as profound."

Summary
Ellwood wants to please Gaunt in bed, and Gaunt doesn’t really know what he wants because he’s never had a partner who cared 😢 Ellwood decides to try something different.
“Touch me, Henry,” Ellwood says coyly, “I know you want to. And I’m right here, wanting it just as badly…maybe more.”
And that’s what breaks the dam. Gaunt launches himself at a smirking Ellwood, capturing his lips in a bruising kiss so passionate he can scarcely contain himself. He wants like he’s never felt before.
Instinctively, he finds himself on top of Ellwood, pinning Ellwood beneath him. Their erections brush against each other and he stops, panting like he’s run a race. He pulls back, eyes searching Ellwood’s for his reaction. All he sees is a slow, wicked grin. “Or maybe you do want this as much as I do,” Ellwood muses, running a hand up the arm Gaunt is holding him down with. “You know what I think, Henry?” he whispers seductively. “I think you know exactly what you want. You’re just too self-restrained to say it out loud. So I’m going to do us both a favor. Take it, Henry. Whatever it is that you want, just take it.”

Summary
Re-writes and expansions of Gauntwood’s first sexual encounter/s in In Memoriam, from Gaunt’s POV instead of Ellwood’s. This is smut, but also I think a great opportunity to explore their dynamic and the development of their connection. Also since this is all Gaunt’s POV, I really explore where I imagine he is at, and what he's experiencing within all this. Much of the dialogue is taken straight from the book; scenes used/built off of take place in ch. 7 & ch. 8 of the novel.
P.S. The title is taken from "They Flee From Me" by Sir Thomas Wyatt; as Ellwood (internally) quotes in the book.

Summary
Looking back on it now, it’s hard to pinpoint exactly when it began. Loving him as much as I do now, it’s hard to imagine there was ever a time I didn’t love him, but at that moment when he stepped out of the cab - tall, blue eyes, sandy hair, blue shirt with the top buttons undone - I can’t say I noticed anything particularly special about him. I had no way of knowing how big a part of my life he would become, how integral to my own identity. He was no different to any other guest before him.
