    “Do I look like I have one?”
    “Not particularly. More like a spoiled only child.”
    Jack snorts,
    “I don’t know about spoiled but I am an only child, yes.”
    “Only children are always spoiled. They can’t even share.”
    “Never had enough to share. We didn’t have anything to begin with.” Jack’s voice is quiet, almost sorrowful. It’s the most emotions he’s seen on his face when he’s not around Robby. John’s almost worried. But he can’t help himself and asks,
    “Am I getting the tragic backstory?”
    A cigarette butt hits him square on the temple and this time he doesn’t complain. That was well deserved and there’s a shit eating grin on his face as he looks up at the clearly annoyed man.
