A monster driven into a wild frenzy under the light of the full moon until he was sick with bloodlust and hysteria, overcome with mania and overwhelmed by instinct. He was able to control the change. Was able to slip between one form and another whenever he wanted to.
Well, unless he got himself injured.
And given his luck? That exactly what he did. And in the presence of Leon Kennedy no less.

He almost goes to check the room number again before his eye catches the blanket crumpled at the foot of the bed, haphazardly strewn over the side and spilling onto the floor. Various leads and sensors from the monitors connect to nothing but the pillow they're resting on, their screens black— no beeps or hums or alarms. An IV line hangs from the bag on the pole and leads his gaze down to the floor where the needle rests in a puddle of fresh blood.
"God damn it, Leon—"

In hindsight it was a wonder that he hadn’t already developed an intense hate towards them after Spain, after all of the time he’d had to spend dealing with Saddler’s subordinates and the weird traps and whatelse. And while this technically wasn’t even a castle but more a fortress, it was still close enough and Leon was so done.
