Well, they’d somehow managed to escape. But with stumbling across Pomni after a long list of embarrassing ‘attempts’, Jax is forced to realise the search simply doesn’t stop there. And maybe along that journey, he’d come to terms with the people he thought hated him the most— including himself, along the way.

Lots of singing, some angst, and definitely Jax confronting the past. After all, not everyone got a happy ending. And Pomni isn’t the one who fixes that for him, of course.
In the end, he learns to do that himself.
