In a small coffee shop run by 5 employees on the very outskirts of the city centre, a gorgeous regular customer has made himself known to them all for being deeply infatuated with one such employee, driving even to the edge of the city during his breaks to see her for a moment. Unsure why Maomao won't accept just one date or shut him down instantly as she usually would with anyone else, it became a mission to two of them in particular to see the pair talk more, at first just to see what happened. Izuku burst out laughing, the sound bright and sweet like birdsong. He laughed so hard that Katsuki scowled and punched his arm, which only made him giggle harder as he tumbled back into the grass. Izuku laughed because he was confused too. Marriage, to him, was something meant for grown-ups and kings and queens, for nobles in stiff collars who looked like they’d eaten a bite of moldy bread and were forced to swallow.
He thought marriage was a forever kind of promise, but in his heart, he knew they had already made that vow.

Summary
In ancient times, the lands and humanity were protected by animal-human hybrids, Legends, that carry One For All’s spirit. Being a Legend taking the form of a ram, Midoriya Izuku travels town to town and uses his powers to weave his magical wool into healing cloth items for humans.
One day however, when hopelessly lost and injured in his ram form during a snowstorm, he's rescued by a hunter, Bakugou Katsuki. To repay his debt, Izuku shapeshifts himself as a human and presents himself at Katsuki’s door as a traveller seeking refuge from the storm.
Izuku’s plans to weave his gifts of gratitude for Katsuki and leave by morning goes awry when the storm, his sustained injuries, and the townspeople already struggling with sickness unexpectedly forces Izuku and Katsuki to cohabitate... indefinitely.
Loyal to his duties, Izuku dedicates himself to weaving for the village to help them combat the sickness. But now, by living with Katsuki and the townspeople, he’s forced to grapple with what it means to be a human, have a home, and maybe even fall in love.

Izuku watches long fingers slowly reach out of the glass, wrapping themselves around the mirror’s edge as the man steps into real life. It smells like sugar and smoke. The clouds follow him out as he bows his head to fit his deadly-looking horns through the frame, red tattoos glowing faintly all over his bare torso and half onto his leathery wings. He makes the rest of the room seem dimmer just by standing in it. Molten metal eyes bore into Izuku’s, paralysing him as he kneels on the floor in front of this beautiful, terrifying apparition.
“I summoned you because want a boyfriend,” Izuku says and then winces at the shallowness of his own request. “I mean, I want to fall in love. I want to be assured that I’ll find someone someday who’ll love me the way I love them. Who isn’t grossed out by me. By the way I am.”
The demon tilts his head. "I offer you a place at my side. You want companionship? I give it in exchange for your soul.”

There, nestled lovingly in a cozy nest lined with bubble wrap and tissue, is a small lucky cat statue.
Izuku lets out a quiet gasp, and carefully scoops the statue up into his hand. It’s black, with a red collar and gold detailing. Its little eyes are squinted happily, and the curl of its mouth looks content.
“Someone must want to keep you safe.” Shinsou says, while Izuku rubs his thumb over the raised characters on the cat’s coin. “Black lucky cat statues are meant to keep away evil and keep people healthy- wait, Midoriya, are you crying?”
After Izuku gets hurt again during a routine class exercise, Class 1-A decides they've had enough of his bad luck, and decide to do something about it by sneakily gifting Izuku all different kinds of good luck charms. It'd be a great plan, if they hadn't forgotten that Izuku's nerves are always turned up to 11.

It became somewhat of a routine, somehow. Everyday at lunch Midoriya would intercept him, say something cheery, and hand him a Kit Kat. A few times they ran into each other outside of lunch period and half the times Midoriya would still have a Kit Kat on hand for him.
It was kind of fucking weird but Hitoshi was getting free Kit Kats out of it so he wasn’t about to complain.(Midoriya "accidentally" classically conditions Shinsou into liking him using Kit Kats)

He wants to scream.
When the volume and force of Katsuki's explosions finally break through his natural defenses and begin to take their toll, Izuku is by his side whether Katsuki wants him to be or not.
