“Hello?” A small child’s voice sounded, causing Crocodile to fully flinch.
It was a primal reaction to hearing a child’s voice so unexpectedly. It was visceral and immediate; Crocodile hung up the snail.
What the hell? Crocodile’s mind was reeling as he tried to think of a logical explanation for why a child would have called him. What child would even have his number, especially this number?
Luffy finds a transponder snail number in his grandfather’s things. It all seems mysterious and wonderful, he found a special friend just for him! And he’ll call as many times as it takes to get his new friend Wani to engage with him.
