But others have plans for him, and he’s ironically enough, stuck in the one animatronic he hid behind for so long as a child.

On one hand, he could stick with his original plan and try to sweet talk his way out of having both of his legs broken. He rather liked being able to use his legs, thank you very much.
On the other hand, he could mess with Gepard a little to entertain himself. And that option was much, much more interesting.

Sampo Koski plans to hide out in a hidden shack far out in the cold plains, away from Belobog and the former-client who wants him dead; he doesn’t expect to find the Silvermane Captain, injured and unconscious in the snow, left for dead by some elusive unseen fragmentum creature the Silvermane Guards had been hunting down.
But now Sampo is stuck in the middle of nowhere, trying to keep the both of them alive as a snowstorm keeps them pinned down, all the while wondering why the hell he didn’t even think twice about saving Gepard in the first place.
