Summary
[Crowley'd] never discussed the Wanderer with Aziraphale. The angel still scared easily and likely wouldn't react well to news that an immortal being with unknown origins kept reappearing to Crowley, wearing different faces.
Best save that for another day.
For 1800 years, a mysterious entity has been appearing to Crowley, tricking him into being nice. As if it wasn't annoying enough when Angel does it. But – and he'd never admit it – Crowley starts enjoying visits from 'The Wanderer,' who often arrives with irritatingly appropriate advice on angel troubles (rather, Angel, singular). Oh, and mortality, the virtues of patience pertaining to love, the weight of existence, and what being 'good' really means. Mostly the Angel stuff. In the present, a heartbroken and very inebriated Crowley's brooding is disrupted when the Wanderer shows up after a long silence. They've come to check on their old friend and fulfill a promise made years ago to reveal their identity when the time is right.Things only get weirder from there.
A series about letting go of who you're "supposed" to be, and embracing who you are.
