Summary
“I suppose the Steel Samurai was better of dusty than damaged by an imbecile who doesn’t know how to use a feather duster.” Edgeworth placed a hand on his hip, and Phoenix refrained from mentioning that no one but Miles was using an ornate Victorian feather duster in the modern age. As much as Miles was eccentric, Phoenix was still endeared by his mannerisms.
Unfortunately for Phoenix, that had become a problem as of late.
or in which wrightworth are actually good at feelings, but unfortunately for them, they're still oblivious idiots.

Summary
Akito lay on his side, very aware of the fact that he was not sleeping.
He was also very aware of the fact that Toya was not sleeping.
He could tell from the way Toya’s arm was wrapped around him—too deliberate to be asleep Toya.

Summary
"No, Wright. Absolutely not."
Miles scoffed, turning his back to Phoenix to slide a thick binder back into its slot on his bookshelf.
"Come on, Edgeworth! It’s a crucial angle for the case," Phoenix pleaded, leaning so far over the prosecutor’s desk that his tie dipped dangerously close to an open inkwell. He absentmindedly ignored the way Miles winced, his entire posture stiffening at the chaotic shifting of his perfectly stacked paperwork.
"The witness said they saw the handoff from the water,” Phoenix explained. “The only way to verify the line of sight is to get out there on a boat!”
-----------------------------------------
Phoenix asks Miles to join him out on a boat for a case investigation. It's totally not a date and they both act totally normal about it.

For some odd reason, Flins always knew what Illuga wanted. There were even times when Flins already knew what he was going to say before he even said it. Not that Illuga was complaining, though. It was just strange.

Summary
After a near-fatal encounter with Rerir, Vice Captain Lohen is forced off the battlefield and into recovery. Stuck behind the frontlines while the war continues without him, he finds himself haunted by a familiar frustration: no matter how hard he trains, it is never enough.
Illuga knows that feeling all too well.
Left behind in Piramida while the people he cares about risk their lives against the Wild Hunt, he keeps himself busy with reports, errands, and anything else that stops him from waiting.
What begins as a chance encounter between an injured knight and a Lightkeeper slowly becomes something neither of them expected.
Or: Lohen and Illuga discover that loneliness is easier to bear when shared.

Summary
And that was when Kaveh snapped. He launched himself to his feet, seething with an emotion he was definitely not ready to name.
“You think you’re so clever, don’t you?” he hissed. “Just because you speak twelve dialects and own an espresso machine and have cheekbones sharp enough to cut through my boundaries, you think you’ve won. You think you can just smile—dimples and all—and I’ll fall apart like an emotionally unstable origami project?”
Alhaitham didn’t answer.
He smirked. Softly and lazily, like a man lounging on the ruins of Kaveh’s dignity.
Both dimples.
Both.
Kaveh gasped like a Victorian heroine seeing ankle.
“No,” he whispered. “Put them away.”
“I’m not doing anything.”
“That’s what makes it worse!”
Or, Alhaitham has dimples and Kaveh is, against all reason and dignity, doomed.
