Summary
Aventurine is sent to Taonus on a penalization mission. However, Aventurine is shown an official IPC contract that says otherwise. With the IPC having a contract saying that they owe more, and Taonus's contract says they owe less, Aventurine is ordered to investigate the discrepancies and Dr. Ratio is sent to help. However, the longer Aventurine is on Taonus the more he conforms to his past slave self - number thirty five. Dr. Ratio quickly realizes that he's under a time limit to figure out the contract discrepancies and what is affecting Aventurine.
Note: I will have a [!!!!! WARNING !!!!!] at the top of the sections that hold sexual interactions. You can cleanly skip these sections and still be able to follow along with the story if you are not comfortable with reading those sections.

“Interesting that you would jump to the conclusion that I wished to bed your companion," Jing Yuan observed. "Would you believe my original question was merely intended to learn more about the two of you? You make a fascinating pair.”
“Do not make the mistake of insulting my intelligence, General.” Ratio was having a difficult time holding himself back from saying anything that might endanger the goodwill of the Luofu. “Your interest in him is plain.”
Jing Yuan seemed to regard Ratio then with a mixture of mutual respect and faint amusement.
“No,” he admitted, a wry, catlike smile creeping across his face. “You’re not wrong, Doctor. You’re just not entirely right, either.”
Ratio finds himself on his knees at the receiving end of a scintillating scheme orchestrated by his so-called business partner. One that vastly complicates his view of Aventurine's intentions towards him, and reveals just what (or who) Ratio is willing to do for Aventurine in turn.

His heart stopped for a second and he stumbled backwards, catching himself on his back step so he didn’t fall over. “Begone, demon! You aren’t welcome here!” He cast a spell outward, tossing his holy chalk at the beast.
But it crashed with something vaguely spade shaped, as if a shield had materialized itself just in time to block him. “Tisk tisk, so~ stubborn. No matter, I know just how to break men like you.”

Summary
The Justice League’s newest recruit, Nightwing, catches Clark’s interest. Not for his striking confidence or advanced skillset, however, but for the way he seems to immediately hit it off with Batman. He beams at the Bat like a dog at its owner’s heels, and to Clark it’s getting annoying.
Superman is determined to figure out what makes the young hero so special, but through his investigation he slowly begins to realize a few things about himself and his feelings towards Batman.
He’s also got a story due at noon, an interview with Bruce Wayne, and a peace treaty to enforce, but that’s not relevant right now.
Or, Clark misinterprets Nightwing and Batman’s relationship so badly it’s laughable…until he realizes what they are to each other in the worst way possible. Then it’s not that funny. Crack ensues. Angst ensues. Lol.

Summary
It’s one of those glitzy elevators, everything but the floor mirrored and soft yellow light reflecting everywhere. It serves no purpose except to give Aventurine multiple angles to check out Ratio.
He leans his head back against the cold glass, and thinks about the way the soft lighting curves around Ratio’s muscles. From here, he thinks if he squints he can just make out Ratio’s back muscles which is a rare sight and one of the modern wonders of the universe, as far as he’s concerned.
Ratio could definitely fuck him in a mirrored room, and Aventurine could use one to see exactly how those muscles move.
Fuck, he’s too horny, too hard and too empty. He doesn’t think he’s ever felt so horny before in his life, and he’s been in tight enclosed spaces with Ratio, most handsome man he’s ever seen, before.
This isn’t normal, and the fact that he can’t bring himself to care about it just emphasises the point home.
Aventurine's evening goes in an unexpected direction when he takes a spiked drink.

Summary

His masters hope that the rare offering will secure favor in the imperial court, but for Aventurine, who was once known as Kakavasha, it is merely another shift in the chains that have bound him for years.
The story unfolds in two timelines: the present, where Aventurine navigates his new life in the palace, and the past, revealing the horrible path that led him there.
He is the last of his people, the final remnant of a civilization hunted to extinction by the same people he is now serving. Kakavasha is the last to bear eyes like his, marking him as a relic, a prize, a possession to own.
But even a slave can still remember what it means to survive.

Summary
Veritas remembers the day he met Aventurine; he was quieter then. Flamboyant as ever but hesitant to push it too far, like if he crossed whatever line he'd drawn in his head, the world might come crashing down around him.
At first, all he'd felt for the man had been disdain, but over time, that feeling had twisted into something else he couldn't quite put into words. It's embarrassing that it takes the other man getting allegedly injured on some random planet all alone for Veritas to realize that maybe what he feels for his colleague isn't just going to go away.
