Summary
It's 1983 and Max knows his perfect Italian Summer is going to be interrupted by the arrival of his father’s writing apprentice Daniel. What he doesn’t know is just how quickly, deeply and madly in love he’ll fall for the man, despite the looming time limit on their relationship.
“It’s a shame you won’t dance,’ he says after a moment of surprisingly comfortable silence, ‘I’d love to see the way you move.”
Max’s head whips around to face him, only to find him still staring out towards the makeshift dance floor. Feeling the younger man’s eyes on him, he turns and stares, eyes half-lidded and lip tilted in the corner.
