It isn’t Supergirl or Kara Danvers facing her now. This woman bears Kara’s face, she has pulled back the sides of her hair as Kara would, but her glasses are gone. She’s wearing Kara’s slacks and a plain white button up. But the buttons are only half done, and that fucking crest shows through the opening.
Halfway between, Lena realizes. Both.
She throws the glass.

Summary
The door opened and both Kara and Lena’s jaws dropped in shock. Kara’s doppelganger strode into the room, a version of Kara sans bangs wearing a supersuit neither woman recognized.
“Who are you?” Kara-2 ordered, and Lena felt Kara stiffen in front of her.
“Who are you?” Kara retorted defiantly and Lena rolled her eyes, catching as she finished that both Karas had the same stubborn, confused set to their face.
“I’m Kara Zor-El,” Kara’s double replied. “Champion of Earth.”
Kara’s brow furrowed. “I’m Kara Zor-El, Champion of Earth.” There was a tense standoff as the two superheroes processed the information, before Kara worked her jaw and spoke. “Which Earth is this?”

“Oh, it's good to see you!” She hugs him tightly. When she lets go, she points at Lena with a smile, “You know my girl friend, Lena, right?”
Clark’s brows furrow for half a second. Lena’s nearly meet her hairline. “Yes.” He finally says, “Ms. Luthor, how are you?”
“Good.” Lena swallows. Confused, but good.

Lena’s half-listening, caught somewhere between the burn of bourbon in her glass and the curve of Kara’s mouth as she teases Alex.
She almost doesn't notice when Kara leans in, low and fond and a little breathless, and says under her breath, like it’s just for her:

Wednesday Addams was not prone to emotions, no matter what any dimwitted clodpoll with pretensions of insight claimed. She wasn't incapable of them, as she wouldn't deprive herself of the joys and terrible satisfactions of a mystery unfurled, or the first plunge of the knife.
Which makes the vexing realization that, upon her return to Nevermore, her particularly axiomatic relationship to emotions seems to falter when it comes to Enid Sinclair all the more appalling.

Everyone allegedly has a soulmate. Back before people could travel the globe different groups had different ways of identifying soulmates, though the majority had some kind of physical marker. Lena Luthor doesn’t have any such indicator and thinks that she must not have a soulmate- after Lex rejected his why would the universe bother giving one to her? Kara also doesn’t think she has a soulmate on earth- she wasn’t even born here, after all.
On one particularly annoying day Lena gets a call from a woman trying to order pizza. Lena is the CEO of L-Corp, not Mario from Mario’s Pizza. Still, once it’s all over she doesn’t think much of it- until she tries to call her secretary and pizza lady answers instead.
It just keeps happening now.
