After all, Roz gets extremely mad whenever it’s brought up. Not that Cliff can blame him, he’s pretty sure that Roz liked Hollander before this (wouldn’t chirp him half as much if he didn’t). Finding out that he’s such a bastard must sting.
Not to mention that Roz does not mess around with people that disrespect girls. Or women. Or kids. Or dogs. Or the elderly (excluding Scott Hunter). Or really anyone, if it’s for petty stupid reasons.
“Of course,” Cliff agrees for both of them since Roz is still too busy texting someone.
It’s apparently not good enough for LeClaire because he asks, “Roz?”
“Just one second,” he answers without raising his eyes from his phone or stopping his typing. “Need to get my Jane to agree with something. She’s very stubborn.”

Wei Wuxian's consciousness comes back as a slow rushing of sound. Voices, movement, something that sounds like fire crackling. It flickers behind his eyelids, so chances are, it's probably a fire. Then a shadow falls over him and he groans as he attempts to peel his eyes open. It's not an easy business—they somehow feel both dry and sticky at the same time, and when he manages to open them the tiniest bit, even the dim light around him feels like blinding sunlight. There's pressure in his chest, but at least his breathing is fine.
He has no idea what happened.

Their noses knock together and he turns his head to the side, seeking a better angle to press his attack. This. This is what he has been wanting, what he has been dreaming of, ever since Wei Ying arrived in Cloud Recesses. From that first thrilling sword fight across the rooftops under the light of the moon to every aggravating encounter in his uncle’s classroom or around Cloud Recesses, when Wei Ying suddenly seemed to be everywhere, taunting him. Everything has been leading up to this moment.
