Hisui was an extremely hostile region. No matter which corner you looked around, inescapable danger was never far away. Be it the bitter cold and harsh weather, or the wild Pokémon lurking behind every tiny ledge, life-threatening situations could be waiting for you anywhere. Akari knew this all too well. Too often, her encounters with wild Pokémon had ended by the skin of their teeth.
Rei and the professor hadn't been particularly thrilled about it. Of course not. Too many members of the research team had lost their lives out here for this wilderness to be taken lightly. Akari understood the professor's hesitation about letting people go alone, of course she did. She had seen it with her own eyes. She, too, had witnessed the raw power that nature could unleash against humankind. And yet... and yet... Akari could take care of herself. She wasn't a little child anymore.

Harry is so done after the Third Task in the Triwizard's Tournament. He's falling behind with schoolwork - actually, not just that, with everything, maybe even life.
Severus Snape knows a suicidal person when he sees one, and he's clearly realizing that Harry is on the edge of doing something stupid, such as jumping off the Astronomy Tower.
Will Snape actually help Harry, or leave him to rot, like most adults have done by now?
