    Danny is on the run after escaping from a GIW facility where their scientists and his parents had been experimenting on him. Now on the run from the government and his family alike, he leaves Amity and his friends behind for their safety and his. Some years after being on the run, never staying in one place for long, he finds himself in Gotham, where he eventually reconnects with the Batfamily...except, they have no idea who he is. Danny knows them of course, but not in this time. Having been sent to the future and returned, he's not sure how to interact with these people he's met, but never known.

    Please note that this fic does NOT start directly with the original prompt. There is a lot of plot that happens before and after, so its really its own beast of a story. See ch 1 summary for details

    "I think I want to take over Britain." Harry said, smiling into the chilled breeze as the sun set. "How about it?" He glanced over at Tom, still sitting by his side.

    "We could." Tom replied, "But it would be hard."

    "Not if we worked together." Harry said, "Grindelwald was alone. You were alone before. This time, we'll be together." Tom examined him closely, his hazel eyes gazing into Harry's green for a long searching moment.

    "Alright." Tom said finally, a smile gracing his face. "Let's do it."

    Crossroads offers Harry and Tom another chance at life, sending them back to 1988 where they both wake up as 8 years olds. Chaos ensues as they try their best to navigate their second chance.

    Unfortunately for SHIELD, Harry has been waiting for the chance to meet him. Fortunately for Clint Barton, the morally questionable wizard with daddy issues seems weirdly interested in him too.

    …or maybe SHIELD is fortunate that Harry decides fighting his father sounds fun, and Clint is unfortunate for falling right into feelings.

    Gotham is definitely not the usual place people decide to go for a Vacation. Danny's not really planning on staying long, but after a while being on the road every day kinda gets old. The city has a large population, ectoplasm, and enough bullshit going on the GIW probably won't think to start up a branch for a while at least.
    It's not like he can go home, anyway.
    So he's just gonna lay low, get his feet underneath him, and then figure out what to do from there.
    Grundy however didn't wait for him to explain any of that. Undead kid needs to lay low? Well, Grundy's got the perfect place for that! Can't get much lower than the sewers in Gotham, right?
    The Batfam just might have Opinions about that.
