The man in the fourth row scoffs again.
“Sorry, sir, do you have something stuck in your throat? Do you need some water?” Grace asks. He knows the answer. The man hasn't touched the spread of light snacks and refreshments that sit out at the back of the cafeteria.
“We don't need to waste time on this bullshit,” the man says. He's tall, even sitting, and is balding under his Giants baseball cap. He's sturdy too, much bigger than Grace. Grace squints at him.
“Sorry?” Grace asks. He's not used to people doubting his work anymore.

Rocky tilted his carapace to the side in curiosity. “Why, question?”
Grace shrugged. “It’s fun.”
Rocky was quiet for a moment. Then, he rolled closer until he was right next to Grace. “How do I obtain bracelet of friendship, question?”
