Summary
During the Battle of Hogwarts, Vincent Crabbe uses the chaos of the Fiendfyre to take Hermione Granger to an isolated cottage deep in the woods.
Hermione is badly injured. She has no wand, no way to leave, and no one to rely on except the person keeping her there. Crabbe tends to her wounds and insists that he saved her life — and that she should be grateful.
According to him, the war is over. Voldemort has won. Harry and Ron are dead, and if Hermione leaves the cottage, there is nothing waiting for her but capture and death.
He may be telling the truth.
He may not be.
Hermione has no way to know.
For now, survival means healing, watching him carefully, and finding a way to live alongside a man who wants her, believes she belongs to him, and reacts badly to anything he experiences as rejection.

Summary
With exams looming and Umbridge with more power than ever Harry is at the end of his tether so decides to try writing a letter to Voldemort, in an effort to stop the nightmares/visions that, admittedly, mean absolutely nothing to him.
This one little act will spark a chain of events that can lead to massive changes in the wizarding world, but will it be for better or worse.
