It's not jealousy. Adrian is adamant about that. They are actually insisting that it’s not any emotion at all. Not even dislike. They are simply completely uninterested in anything that concerns “the human”.
Rocky believes them. Adrian has always been the level-headed one out of the two of them. They are too logical to be jealous. They acknowledge that Grace and Rocky have a special bond after everything they went through together and also understand that none of that will ever pose a threat to their relationship.
Neither are they heartless or ungrateful. They know that Grace is the only reason that Rocky is back at all, the only reason their star has stopped dying. Adrian has told Rocky again and again that they are grateful and happy and wish the alien no ill will. They even helped with the construction of the biodome.
And yet they have no desire to get to know Grace.

The humans threw Grace away. Grace, who worked so hard to save them, who came back for Rocky when he realized the taomoeba would eat through Rocky's ship. Grace, who gave up his chance to go home to save Erid too.
And then Rocky finds out exactly how Grace ended up in space.
They're not giving him back now. Grace will always have a place on Erid where he's beloved and cherished the way he should be, even if it takes Grace a while to believe he's worth that. Rocky may or may not have plans to fix up the Hail Mary for the trip back anyways- there were a few things they wanted to say directly to Stratt's face.

First of all, it should be some sort of regulation or law that you have to bang your fists or stomp your feet or generally just beat the hell of whatever you target when “Sweet Caroline” gets to the chorus. Second of all, that law should apply everywhere in the damn universe. I don’t care if whatever is listening doesn’t have limbs to beat on something with. They can improvise.

Quickly making her way up through the ranks of the Starforce, the closed-off commander finds herself intruiged by a beautiful, new woman with weird powers and a mysterious past. When Aayala is assigned to train her, her walls slowly begin breaking down. But does she dare let Vers in? And what mysteries will they unravel on C-53?
This was the first book I've written, years ago when I just started out, so it isn't amazing by any means. The first part especially. But I am currently writing The Marvels storyline, which is a lot better (chapters 36 and up). I will go back and edit everything someday, but for now, enjoy ;)

Retelling of a good majority of the BG3 events with a Karlach romance focus, there are spoilers. Trying not to make it too retellingy but it is what it is. Planning to write through post-canon as a fix-it. Tav is a Druid Drow. There will be canon divergence and stuff I get wrong because the amount of lore in BG and DND is insane and new to me, so I will mess it up by accident, apologies in advance.
This was my first fan fic. It is currently completed, and has an ending. There may be future updates, but the main arc has finished.
