They had been around each other constantly since Mimzy’s club, dodging reporters from those Vees together, stamping out some reactionaries that came to attack after word got out and Alastor’s interview of him was broadcasted, fielding questions and concerns from Charlie… The shared spaces of the hotel were their shared spaces, and where they used to prod each other or avoid each other like the plague, they now hovered. Lingered a little longer before the inevitable bickering set back in. Righted the world into what it should be.
But it was never this.
