“If I hadn’t already agreed to go to this conference, I’d offer to go with you,” Robby said casually. “Show you how it’s done. I’ve got a good track record as a plus-one, too.” Dennis had to say something. To interrupt. To shut this down. But what was he supposed to say? No, you can’t be my plus one, because I lied about my cousin, and there is no wedding, and it seems a little weird to bring a date to a fucking funeral– “Apparently parents love it when you bring home a doctor.”
And just like that, the bubble popped.
“I’m not gay,” Dennis snapped.
He had never hated the sound of his own voice as much as he did right then.

Summary
Dennis Whitaker has hated storms for as long as he can remember. From under a pile of rubble with a long shard of 2x4 piercing through his side, he thinks about the massive “I told you so” he’s going to say to his therapist if he somehow lives through the night.

Dennis is injured in the field while facing one of his worst fears, and Robby has to deal with the reality that he has feelings for Dennis, that Dennis might not recover, and that it's his fault that Dennis was in the field in the first place.

Summary
Dennis Whitaker treated a patient months ago and suddenly very strange things have been happening, flowers delivered for him that are "anonymous", getting food delivered to his door after mentioning he wanted it, and then pictures of him being sent to his phone constantly, pictures of him in his house, eating, sleeping, and his least favorite, showering. Then one day he goes to a bar with his favorite roommate Trinity and little does he know things are about to go very south.
