Alicent Hightower would like to make one thing perfectly clear to the Gods, herself, and anyone who has ever known her: she knows without a shadow of a doubt that Rhaenyra Targaryen loves her. That part is not up for debate.
Unfortunately, Alicent has also historically been the one to initiate most things between them.
Which means she really should have predicted the problem.
(The problem being the distinct and infuriating lack of a proposal.)
Or: Alicent spends several months convinced her girlfriend is secretly planning to propose at any given moment. Rhaenyra spends those same months patiently waiting for Alicent to finally make partner - exactly like Alicent once told her to.

Robin knows she talks too much. She’s been made very aware of it her entire life. How it’s annoying, and unbecoming, and weird. Most children don’t feel the need to share their every thought.
Most children’s parents would be happy to hear their child’s every thought. Most parents don’t want their children to keep secrets from them. They want to know what’s happening in their kids’ lives, always worried something awful might happen, and they’ll be left in the dark.
