Summary
So, vampires. Most people weren’t sure if they were still even alive, let alone if they existed in the first place. They were almost as unheard of as angel dragons– an urban legend, so to say. Depending on who you asked, their description might differ here and there, but a few things were commonly agreed upon.
One, vampires drank blood. Two, vampires were very physically attractive.
And three, vampires were notoriously ruthless.

tldr: For a crime he didn't commit, Kokichi is sacrificed by his village to a haunted mansion, of which resides a vampire. For all of the horrible things he was imagining, he wasn't expecting this supposedly terrifying vampire to be so... sad?Series

Summary
Kaito hates Kokichi… but he hates the killing game even more. In the cold, cavernous Exisal hangar, Kaito stares into the poison-fevered eyes of the Ultimate Supreme Leader and makes a decision: the killing game is over. He will not kill Kokichi. He will not drop the press and entomb this child inside the killing game he claims to despise. So, Kaito comes up with a plan to save Kokichi’s life, but to pull it off, the two of them will have to work together inside the Exisal, trick Monokuma into reaching a false verdict, and end the class trial before Kokichi succumbs to the Strike-9 poison.

There aren't enough words to describe my immense love and adoration for this fic. I was so so invested and immersed in the story, not just because of the plot or presence of my favorite characters, but also because of the magnificent writing. I can't get over how amazing this fic is, it might be my favorite fic ever and I know I'll never read anything like it. The characters were so deep and characterized so well I genuinely she'd tears at certain parts. This fic is a mist read and I recommend it it's so amazing.

AWHHHHHHH OH MY GOODNESS this was an absolute delight to read. I loved seeing DICE interact with Kokichi and integrate shuichi into their family as well as seeing shuichi family include Kokichi. I loved seeing all the vulnerable and sickeningly sweet moment between not just the married couple, but between the two and everyone else.

But it isn’t Akamatsu or Gokuhara or even Saihara who shows up at Ouma’s door. In fact, nobody shows up at Ouma’s door at all. He opens the door himself and steps out into the hallway, a mask hanging from his wrist, and turns around to lock up, when he hears a thud behind him, and then—
“Ouma?”
It’s a rich, intense voice that Ouma still hears every night when he dreams. His body aches in two places, his upper arm and his back, and still he turns around, something less like fear and more like hope making his breath hitch. He stares hard at Momota, trying to figure out if he’s real, trying to figure out if they’re in the hangar again, and then a flash of green blocks his vision, and he sees that Momota isn’t alone.
“Oh!” Amami Rantaro, elusive, distrustful Amami Rantaro, who died in a matter of days after stupidly promising to end a game that was rigged against him, smiles at Ouma like he’s not a murderer.
