“Can I help you?” Alhaitham asked, settling back into his chair. He was never completely sure where he stood with Tighnari. Were they friends? Possibly. Probably. They drank together, at least. But Tighnari was a little too sharp for Alhaitham’s comfort; he always felt a little transparent under his eyes. But now those eyes weren’t focused on him. They weren’t really focused on anything. Tighnari looked half-mad with exhaustion, hair mussed and ears twitching wildly. He leaned one hand heavily against the doorway as he slumped in place.
“Where is the Temple of Silence?”When Hermanubis turns against his host and leaves Cyno near dead, Alhaitham has too little time and too much desert to search in a desperate bid to find the Temple of Silence and the only people who might be able to save him. “Diluc, huh?” she says, smiling down at the infant. “Couldn’t you have just told us you were knocked up? Honestly,” she rolls her eyes. “Everyone thought you were dying of some incurable illness or something.”
Crepus laughs halfheartedly. “I wanted no rumors spread as to his parentage before he even took his first breaths,” he says.

Childe has a secret. A great, big, terrible secret. (No not the Harbinger thing.) See, he actually knows how to use chopsticks (it comes with the whole ‘master of weaponry’ shtick.) But there is no way he is going to admit that to the handsome funeral consultant. Especially when feigning incompetency gets him such sweet rewards.
Or: 5 times Childe pretends to not know how to use chopsticks around Zhongli, and 1 time he forgets he's supposed to be pretending.

Summary
Xiao and Barbatos love each other, that is a fact. It's been that way for thousands of years, and if all goes well, it'll be that way for thousands to come. But how did it start? Well, with a meeting of course.
Accompanying Lord Morax to meet the other Archons was an honor given to the best of Rex Lapis's Adepti, so of course Xiao accepts when he's chosen. He might regret it once there, just slightly, but he just needs to keep it together until the meeting ends, then he can go home and forget everything about the event. That is what he would have done, had he not been followed by a god with big white wings and a bigger heart.
A warrior with the duty to slaughter and a gentle bard-god don't seem to have a lot in common, but somehow, they both end up being just what the other needs.
Or, how Xiao and Venti found each other, starting from the very beginning.

Summary
Between two mountain ranges, tucked back in the hillside behind a forest of pines older than any living man, sits a small cottage. Smoke curls from the chimney, but mysteriously never hot enough to cause a fire. There’s a sprawling garden surrounding the home, filled with all sorts of plants that the animals and insects never seem to touch.
If you manage to make it through the forest you’ll find that a witch and his apprentice live there.
One day, the apprentice arrives home with a wolf too large and too tame to be natural. So, Tighnari takes to his books and scours his spells in hopes of curing the cursed beast.
Of course, he never expected that would lead to a gorgeous, silver haired man falling in love with him.

Hopefully someone with a sense of humor who reads a lot of books.” He swallows and his eyes get that mischievous glint to them that always heralds trouble for Chongyun. “Why, Yunyun? Are you thinking about marriage? Got your eye on a pretty girl?”
OR:
Xingqiu decides that the perfect way to get his parents off his back about marriage is to get engaged to a perfect girl with great business prospects and stop wasting everyone's time. Easy! Now he can spend all his newfound free time with Chongyun, his best friend in the whole world. This is a great solution with no downsides. :)

Many have flocked to Liyue to try their hand at conquering Rex Lapis’ Path of Indomitable Jade, rumoured to be relentless in its challenge but bountiful in its reward. Unsurprisingly, Ajax’s one track mind honed in on the word challenge and ran all the way to Celestia with it.
No one told him it was a bygone tradition that vied for the emperor’s hand in marriage, not until much later, when Liyue was already decked to the nines in preparation for the coronation of the emperor’s beloved consort– an Ajax-shaped consort.
(In which a bored Childe thinks he’s scaling up mountains to fight adepti and gain bountiful gifts for his nation and all that jazz, but he actually ends up wooing one of them and fighting favour from the rest and-- uh, wait, what do you mean the eccentric rock enthusiast is the emperor--)

Al-Haitham hums, sitting back in his seat. His eyes get that look they always do when he's thinking– at least that had stayed the same– before he put his hands in his pockets.
“You can stay with me, if you'd like,” he says all too casually as he pulls a hand back out his pocket. “For the time being,” he adds on a little too quickly, “until you manage to get yourself out of the mess you’ve made.”
Kaveh was about to open his mouth to protest. Like he'd ever take an offer from him, especially with that attitude.
But then Al-Haitham slides a key across the table to him–golden, with emerald embellishments, a carbon copy of the soulmark on Kaveh's arm– and the words on his lips dissipate into the warm tavern air.

The question comes out more tender than he intended, but Zhongli simply chuckles, nodding his head.
"Of course, Childe. We are friends by now, are we not?"

Summary
Zhongli has spent his life building up the Liyue Association for the Protection of Indigenous Species (or LAPIS for short), a centre aimed at rescuing and conserving various species of Teyvat's wildlife.
When an injured mer called Childe is brought to the sanctuary after being confiscated from a collector, Zhongli finds himself in a race against time to earn Childe's trust and figure out what is ailing him before Childe succumbs to his injuries.
Slowly, Zhongli reaches up and presses his palm to the glass.
Childe does not flinch, bolt, nor flee. Instead, he raises his hand, close enough now that the translucent silver-grey half-webbing between his fingers becomes visible, the small stretch of skin that reaches between the first joint of each finger, while leaving his thumb free for object manipulation, an adaptation providing the mer both the propulsion power of a marine species, along with the dexterity of a human. He touches his index finger to the glass at the same spot as Zhongli’s, and there they stand, human and mer, a connection as rare and precious as gold dust.

Yawning, Wriothesley rolls over to find the bed empty, the space where Neuvillette slept cool to the touch. He drags his hand over that empty space and pushes himself up. Across from the bed, the bathroom door is mostly closed, a thin sliver of light spilling around the threshold, bright in the early morning darkness. It’s cute, he thinks, that Neuvillette thought to close the door, especially because Wriothesley is a light sleeper.
And yet Neuvillette was able to slip out of bed without waking him.
That’s a thought Wriothesley definitely doesn’t want to unpack right now.
Wriothesley helps Neuvillette get dressed.

Touya Todoroki was many things. He was a headache waiting to happen, he was the epitome of arrogance and narcissism, he carried himself like a gift from the heavens. Not that any could fault him, he was a god carved from stone, given a physical form so he could grace the earth with his presence. But his strikingly good looks were a stark contrast to his dumpster fire of a personality. A tongue laden in silver that had been sharpened to cut even the strongest of opponents, a skill he chose to not use often, seeing as his matchstick temper blinded his way of thinking. He was horrible and self-centered, reckless to the kind of abandon where he wouldn’t care if people knew if he was alive or not. Touya had all the communication skills of a wet paper towel, very rarely was Hawks made aware of him being okay. Through everything, through every little obnoxious trait and horrible fact that made up the melting pot of Touya- Hawks couldn’t let go.
