Originally, they stopped by the couch to actually talk about that night. It was after hours in the circus, everything very dimly lit so that everyone could rest accordingly.
One thing led to another, and one very embarrassing conversation and confession later, Kinger had him sprawled across his lap trying to feel every inch of Caine he could grab. Kinger leaned down and put his invisible mouth against the neck of the other man, Caine groaning out a low whine.

Caine is an AI, after all. Pomni doesn't think he even cares about anything other than his adventures.
And that made it all the more shocking that when an escaped Abstraction attempts to attack Pomni, she finds herself being pushed out of the way by the dreaded ringmaster himself, taking the hit for her as he tells her to run.
She soon realizes that there's more to Caine than she thought.
