Summary
"Whitaker."
It's the use of his last name that stops him. It's the use of his last name here that stops him.
He's Whitaker within the walls of the Pitt. He's Dr. Whitaker in front of patients. The occasional Huckleberry at central, when everyone can benefit from a small laugh at the nickname. But here? Inside Robby's home, where he's painstakingly carved out a corner over months- his favorite mug in the cabinet, an extra toothbrush in the holder, a take-out menu to some stupid restaurant they said they wanted to try together hanging on the fridge. Nothing big, nothing obtrusive. Just enough to place a shaking, smeared fingerprint in the footnotes of Robby's life. Here? Where he'd finally begun to feel like maybe he should start keeping a spare change of his clothes in the half-empty bottom drawer of the dresser?
Here, it's a death sentence. That "Whitaker."
-Or, Robby and Dennis break up. It's as simple and as complicated as that.

Summary
Wherein book 7 is completely ignored because wars don't tend to happen so quickly; Percy Weasley runs a safehouse [because that's as close to administrative work as you can get in a war], and everyone gets a chance to play minor character bingo. Get your cards and markers ready!

Summary
A direct sequel to "In Between Days" in which the war is over, but not really and book 7 continues to be completely ignored. Percy works for the Ministry, Oliver is a touch shady, Tonks and Shacklebolt prove their level of badass, and love is warm and gooey [most of the time]. Also, Seamus plays chorus, and The Golden Trio barely get a nod.

Compromises, slightly embarrassing revelations, and Percy being mildly clueless. Oh, and nothing at all that looks like angst.
