Summary
"I don't think you'll be able to help me," Bokuto said, his heels lifted slightly off the hot sand as he crouched down. The tide pulled forward and brushed across his toes, white foam slinking over the yellow grains. "Not if I still haven't managed to get in the water."
Akaashi shrugged, the waves breaking against his feet as he stepped in further. His eyes were darker than the ocean, glinting in the sweltering sun above them. "I never thought I could."
And it was an honest answer, one Bokuto could tell he meant wholeheartedly. No one could help him, not unless he wanted it.
And, looking then at the beads of water that dripped from the boy’s inky hair, Bokuto thought maybe the ocean wasn't so bad, if only because it reminded him of Akaashi.

Summary
The last thing he remembered was Bokuto driving late at night down a questionably narrow road that was barely fenced off from a rather dangerous cliff that if someone fell off of they would likely die. Or get seriously injured. Or something.
He knew full well it wasn’t Bokuto’s fault. He was surprisingly a really good and very safe driver. But there was another driver on the road, one who clearly should not have been driving.
Next thing they knew, they were crashed into, shoved off the road, and rolling down a cliff.
Keiji was probably knocked unconscious after that.

Summary
Akaashi reluctantly goes back to Hogwarts with his boyfriend, because Bokuto needs to be there for his best friend, and there isn't a thing Akaashi wouldn't do for Bokuto. Unfortunately, his problems haven't suddenly vanished with him and now... he needs to face them. However, it's not that scary when he isn't alone. And Bokuto with his friends like to remind him a lot that he isn't alone.
“Okay.” He nods and his smile grows bigger, his eyes finally regain their usual brightness. He squeezes Keiji’s hands and bounces his head. “Promise you’ll allow me to yell that you’re my boyfriend, though?”
Keiji snorts, feeling like he can finally breathe again. “Yeah. I will scream with you.”
Bokuto squints at him, like he has Veritaserum in his eyes. “No, you won’t.”
“No, I won’t,” he admits sheepishly. “But I will hold your hand.”

Summary
Bokuto looks up at him, his expression wide and innocent. “Akaashi having an off day? Is such a thing possible? You look like you could never make a mistake. I’ve seen your school work, you know. It’s alarming how neat your writing is. And on the court, you’re always focused.”
“Of course I make mistakes, Bokuto-san. Sometimes… sometimes big mistakes.” His voice almost catches and he swallows and turns away.
Or: Blackmailed for an imprudent photo, Akaashi nearly loses his place on the volleyball club. Bokuto is Not Impressed.
