Summary
Jack is earnest. It seemed to be his only other setting, when sarcastic wasn't available. It means that the words, no matter how corny to Robby's more than a little jaded ears, ring true. Annoyingly.
"This is a shitty midlife crisis," Robby says mildly, twitchy in opposition to Jack's stillness, but the other man can smell blood in the water.
"Hey, cheaper than a Miata."
***
Robby finds himself spiraling when his latest relationship ends. Jack offers him a spot as a co-director at a local summer camp. Robby can't help but say yes.

Summary
You and John Shen were never fake-married. You were contractually betrothed — a perfectly reasonable workplace arrangement formed during years of night-shift friendship, emotional support, and mutual romantic pessimism. Unfortunately for everyone, Jack Abbot does not find this at all reasonable.

Summary
Jack Abbot is not an overly-neighborly person. He has secret nicknames in his head for most of the people on his floor and actively avoids any and all types of neighbor politics. However, he can’t deny his growing fondness for the single mom and toddler in apartment seventeen. (Nor his burning hatred for your baby daddy).

When you acted as a good Samaritan, bringing an injured man into the ED in the wee hours of the morning, you didn't expect anything to come from it. Certainly not a good conversation and the number of an unfairly hot doctor.
Or the potential to fall in love.

Kind enough to offer you his spare bedroom when your landlord suddenly terminates your lease.
He calls it temporary. A favor.

Summary
You’re the security guard known for bullying Robby into eating lunch and stopping Myrna from escaping. You aren't the girl who gets the guy. But one debate about Market Garden changes the landscape. Suddenly, Jack is on your couch and arguing about D-Day.It’s all platonic until the "Cabal" gets involved. Dana knows too much, Samira is planning the wedding, and poor Whitaker is begging to be excluded. But when Jack stumbles upon your secret plan to become a single mother via a sperm donor
"So" You swallowed hard."You want to be my donor?"
Jack’s face scrunching up, as if he had just stepped in something disgusting."I didn't say 'donor.'"
“Yes, you did!”
"I meant the father," Jack grumbled, dragging a hand through his curls. "And I certainly didn't mean I want to go into a sterile little room with a plastic cup and a sticky copy of a magazine from 1998 while a nurse scowls at me."
Your brain screeched to a halt."Wait," you whispered, the realization hitting you."You mean..."
"I mean the traditional way," Jack said, his voice rough, his gaze dropping to your lips for a fraction of a second before snapping back to your eyes. "No cups. No doctors. Just... us.”

The night shift at the Pitt teaches you two things very quickly:
how to keep people alive, and how to survive the ones you can’t.
You are a newly assigned intern doctor who is brilliant, stubborn, and entirely incapable
of backing down — which becomes a serious problem when your supervising attending, Jack Abbot, seems to make a sport out of challenging you at every possible opportunity.
Between impossible trauma cases, sleepless nights, and arguments sharp enough to cut
through the entire ER, the rivalry between them slowly turns into something far more
dangerous.Bookmarked by Librarian006

Summary
As he walked across the rooftop, he almost missed the figure standing at the edge, practically offering himself to the void below. He couldn't figure who it was but his senses exploded like earlier before the announcement of the Pitt Fest. Without thinking, Dennis shot a web that stuck to the man’s back, pulling him backward against the barrier, away from danger.
“What the fuck?!” the man cursed, now clinging tightly to the railing.
“That wasn’t a good idea, sir. You wouldn’t survive a fall like that—even from the top of a hospital.” He couldn't hear his own words, his heartbeat was too loud.
The man turned to face him, and for a moment his lungs forgot to breathe, the sirens in his head had gone silent because he recognized the familiar face of his mentor, Dr. Robinavitch. When Robby realized who he was dealing with, he let out a small, hollow laugh.
Or…
Dr. Robby develops a weird attraction for Spider-man after he saved him from jumping off the roof of the Pitt after the events of the PittFest. What he ignores is that his savior’s identity is actually Dennis Whitaker, his shy new student doctor.

Summary
***DISCONTINUED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE***
Dr. Michael Robinavitch could admit to himself that it was a little strange. A crime fighting vigilante dressed in a unitard swinging through the city on “spider webs.” Okay, maybe it was more than a little strange. It was keeping the numbers slightly more manageable in his ER though, and he’ll take all he can get.
•
Dennis Whitaker didn’t sign up to be Spider Man. He’d more so describe it as being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

“Do you actually, y’know, like him?”
Dennis bristled. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
Santos put up her hands defensively. “Hey, I’ve got nothing against the guy. Robby’s a great doctor and a good boss. I just… I mean he is like twice your age, man.”
Dennis simply shrugged. “Maybe I have a thing for crows' feet, ever thought about that?”
