This is yours.”
“I’ve never used it, so it can be your mug now.”
Ilya had nodded slowly, setting the offending object on the bedside table carefully, eyes flashing as he watched Shane do the same- okay, Hollander- before pouncing on him, pressing him into the mattress.

And he wasn’t even sleeping, as far as Charlie knows. The realization sends a cold wave of panic through him. This isn’t just tiredness. This is something else. Something worse.
