Ravio thought that after fighting in Hyrule’s war and serving as a hero during Lorule’s recovery, he could finally focus on his merchant work- this “quest” he’s found himself on isn’t going to stop him this time.
Beedle didn’t mean to poke holes in the space time continuum… or make enemies of royalty, spirits, ninjas and pirates. But what’s a merchant to do?

You blink.
Not what you wanted. Not what you wanted at all. You have to get away from those weird… these weird guys. You won’t think about it too hard. Not right now. You have to get away from those weird guys until everything stops being so random and disconnected and separated from the natural chain of cause and effect. Clarity can only be found in solitude.
“…nuh-uh.”
He squints at you. “What do you mean, ‘nuh-uh’?”

Summary
The last thing Link remembered: he went to bed an ordinary 6-year-old in his family home in Castle Town.
He woke up a 6-year-old in a world 112 years older than him, where the Calamity had already hit and then recently been defeated... by himself? He didn't know what happened, or how, or why. Luckily, he had eight heroes with weird nicknames on his side, there to help him figure out and fix whatever was going on, one age at a time—and gradually heal his childhood wounds in the process.
Or: my take on the kid!Wild and Wild-meets-the-Chain tropes, with a bit of a twist in that he is mentally a child as well—memories included.

“Fi burned me when I took a swing at her.”
For a moment Legend’s expression didn’t change, and Sky found himself silently praying. Then like a candle being lit, confusion turned to understanding, then disbelief, and finally the Vet’s eyes went wide. “Are you saying…” Legend’s mouth fell open as he turned to look at the unconscious girl. “Sweet Hylia, you’re kidding.”
“Um, would you two mind sharing this revelation with the rest of us?” Wild demanded, his irritation clear.
Sky inhaled deeply, steadying himself for the storm he was about to unleash. “Remember when we first sparred with each other and I borrowed a sword because I didn’t want to use Fi?”
“Yeah.” Wild sounded less annoyed now.
“Remember why?”
“You said something about her not liking being used against her masters.” No sooner had the words left his mouth than the same light seemed to go on in the Champion’s brain. “No way!”
Sky shifted his gaze from his brother to the young woman in front of them. “Or in this case, Mistress.”---
A new hero has joined the Chain, but how will she go about finding her place among them?
