Despite later claims by Porpentina Goldstein, the first thing that Newt Scamander, illegal magizoologist, actually said to Graves was “Oh. I really didn’t think that there were two of those.”
Graves looked around quickly, wand cautiously raised. One of Grindelwald’s ‘silos’ of stored and mostly illegal paraphernalia had turned out to also include an acid-spitting two-legged ostrich-sized lizard, whose spit had dissolved, unfortunately, much of said illegal paraphernalia, a desk, several chairs, and Newt’s clothes. The lizard was asleep, bubbling gently beside the stairs, clutching the virulently pink flower bulb that Newt had thrown at it right before he’d been drenched.
“Where’s the other one?”
“No, no, I meant your coat,” Newt explained brightly.

Summary
I had been incredibly skeptical when Ratthi had sent me ‘Midnight Eclipse.’ I knew what fanfiction was, I had seen it in the more niche entertainment feeds before. Never specifically for Sanctuary Moon, but I'd assumed it existed. That didn't mean I had any actual interest in it, though. When I had first looked at them, I hadn't liked them. The quality varied too much and a lot of them weren't finished, or were really short, or really out of character. And I hated that. I really really hated that.
This one was different.

Summary
“My mom used to tell me that angels were watching over me.” Dean clears his throat and looks at the gargoyle statue that has become his friend over the past few months. “Maybe instead of angels we need gargoyles. With angelic names."
While on lunch at Dean's new part-time job, he is driven out of the museum breakroom by his incessantly annoying boss. He seeks solace on the roof of the building with only a few gargoyle statues for company, and is especially drawn to one named "Castiel."
Dean soon finds himself spending all of his breaks on the roof, talking to the statue. As time goes by, he even starts to view Castiel as a sort of confidant.
But everything changes during Dean’s first night shift.

There’s a blizzard outside, Peter’s flight is delayed until further notice, he’s trapped in a hotel in Canada, and there’s only one room left. Peter’s willing to fight the whole lobby for the chance at a warm bed but ends up forced to make a deal with the scariest looking person in the group. As if sharing a room for a night with a stranger calling himself Deadpool isn’t bad enough, things fall into utter disarray when everyone is snowed in for a week with only a carry on bag to their names — or less. As the days pass, chaos escalates, the outlandish becomes the norm, and strange friendships are formed. All the while, Peter finds himself accidentally falling for a guy who isn’t at all what first impressions might imply.

Let's assume you're familiar with superhero rules.
Well, Wade presumes you must be since you're here.
But anyway, achilles' heels right? Kryptonite, fire, extraordinarily specific phobias that were definitely shoehorned in by the authors - you got to assume a superhero has one. Wade always thought that Spider-Man's was his identity, because why wouldn't it be? He's got a hang-up the size of New York itself about it.
Turns out, the 'spider' in Spider-Man is more literal than you'd think.

All in all, Peter isn't sure how he and Deadpool ended up spending so much time together, but he’d say he’s pretty happy about it.
Author’s Note: This story pulls mainly from the comic book Spider-Man and the latest Deadpool (2016) movie, but it’s really a grab bag retelling of these heroes’ stories. The Avengers are composed of all the original members from the 2012 film and Peter can be any Spidey you want.

Everyone's demanding that Spider-Man reveal his identity for their own safety, and as if that isn't enough, Deadpool is hired to make sure it happens. Peter's stressed enough as it is with work and rent and school and a new super villain cropping up — he just doesn't have time for this. He especially doesn't have time for Deadpool accosting Peter Parker, wanting Spider-Man's photographer to help track down the elusive hero.
