There’s this nagging feeling like something is off. She isn’t supposed to be here. It’s not necessarily that she thinks the doctor is lying to her, or that she thinks she shouldn’t have survived, but it’s this odd and very uncomfortable feeling of something that doesn’t quite fit. Like she doesn’t fit. Like trying to jam a piece into a puzzle that doesn’t belong to the one she’s trying to put together.
