Since Cairo Charles and Erik live their lifes separately until one day everything goes downhill again: The Professor was kidnapped and his students don't know what to do than to ask the mighty Magneto for help. At first, Erik thinks of it as an easy job - after all the kids of the school are of little to no use for a fight. But when he got captured himself, things turned out much worse than he thought...

Erik had held back from rolling his eyes. He was not opposed to the idea—certainly embraced it—but it had simply ruined his immersion that this was a visit from the future and it was more so his subconscious telling him what he already knew: that he missed Charles.
So Erik had said, “Of course I do,” and wasn't able to discern if his own tone was sarcastic or not.

The room that Charles is held in is simple, and underground, a concrete bunker of a place hewn into a cube, with a simple white cot for a bed. There's a small black and white television set, plugged to the wall within hand's reach of the bed, and an ensuite bathroom attached to the chamber. They're somewhere in the Nevada desert, as far as Charles dimly remembers, one of Erik's many boltholes. There's no one else in the entire facility, and Erik's mind is closed to Charles from the helmet. The silence is both blissful and excruciating.

Summary

When their lives cross paths with a destructive opium cartel led by the shadowy Sebastian Shaw, they decide to take down the businessman down no matter the cost.

He gives Charles a smile and the scent of that expensive cologne he always wears wafts into his senses. It was woody and musky, something you wouldn't expect someone like Charles to fancy. Charles gifted him the same cologne when he first moved into the mansion.
"I don't know -" Charles sighs out, grabbing the stack of papers and lining them up before gently tapping them on the desk so they fall into place. "- maybe it's the fact that you keep thinking about me, about kissing me, and fucking me on this very desk" Charles opens up the desks drawer and places the papers inside before closing it.
