“Don’t you remember?” Lucas asked softly. “When we were kids? Like, sixth grade. We all said we’d be in each other’s weddings.” He chuckled. “And Mike called dibs on being my best man, and then you and Dustin started freaking out, because you were both gonna call dibs, so I said you could all do it. Remember? I need all my best men.”
Will puffed out his cheeks, running a hand through his hair. He already hadn’t lived up to that twice now. He’d missed Dustin’s wedding, he hadn’t even been invited to Mike’s (not that he’d expected to be.) This was his last shot.
And something about it seemed final. If he missed this, then that was it. He had no doubt they’d still try to reach out, but it wouldn’t be the same. He would’ve broken something he couldn’t fix.
He sighed.
“Okay.”
Ten years after the end of the world, Lucas and Max get married.

Talon coos again, scooting a little closer.
No matter. The tiny human will go cold if Talon leaves it here, and unlike with Talon, humans do not become warm again once they’ve been cold.

Not this year though. Jason looks beyond the walls of the keep, and he can see hundreds of fires burning, hundreds of small fires turning the night sky into a conflagration.

Jason becomes aware with nothing but the memory of something bright, and a hell of a lot of pain.
It's not unusual; explosions, as much as he hates them, are kind of par for the course for most of Gotham's goons. Blowing things up seems to be their go-to to solve any problem, which probably explains why Gotham's insurance companies charge such high premiums.
But something's nagging at the back of Jason's -admittedly probably concussed -brain. A nagging feeling that he's forgetting something, that there's something important that he should be doing right at this exact moment.

Summary
Father is leaned against a wall with his hand over his face, Richard and Timothy are in similarly panicked states, alternating between glancing at Jason with barely concealed panic and thumbing through some information on the tablets. He assumes they are looking for a cure for the pit rage that has Jason pacing and snarling, sweat slick skin and glowing green eyes. It's a waste of time, the Lazarus Pit is not a flimsy fear gas they will be able to address by breaking down a few simple chemical components, not even Richard who admittedly has a knack for that type of thing.
Rather than wasting any more time Damian slides past his distracted and embarrassingly unaware family members and presses his finger to the biometric lock on the outside of the cell.
OR
Damian helps Jason though a pit rage episode and the family learns a little bit more about their history

Wally is trembling in his sleep, not the way he does when he gets excited and he'll blur at the edges for how fast he's moving but sluggish and involuntary, almost like he's cold.
Dick swallows, his stomach twisting painfully when he sees the multiple IV poles surrounding his boyfriend, one with a clear liquid that's hooked into the crook of Wally's arm and the other to a feeding tube that's been taped to his freckled cheek. He's buried under a mountain of Dick's blankets and his eyes are closed.
OR
Wally's body doesn't handle his metabolism very well and when he overexerts himself on a mission Dick rushes to be there for him in the aftermath.
